Puppet Shows
Puppet shows are a never fail tool for making contact with campers. The children love to gather in front of the puppet stage and will listen to lessons taught through the puppet presentation when they wouldn’t sit still for anything else. Parents invariably gather behind the children just to see what is happening. The ideal situation is for a visiting team to do the puppet show so that the PKRM staff can circulate among the adults and visit with them. Many witnessing opportunities arise in this way. Often the puppet team will go on to the next location and leave behind a staff member witnessing to someone, and the contact could only be made because of the puppet show.
