Day Camps
Day camps are held in the camp grounds (usually the State Park and/or Sandy Beach) on Fridays & Saturdays throughout the summer. This involves and hour and a half to two hours of songs, stories, crafts, and games. Usually something is included on water or camping safety. Always there is some teaching about God, either a Bible story or songs or a puppet show. For some of these children, it is the first time they have ever heard these things, so every effort is made not to assume any prior knowledge in planning the program. Refreshments are served sometime during the day camp.
